Biography of
Barbara Borkowski
I currently serve as the Central and Michigan Field Financial Officer and
Assistant to the Apostle. I hold the office of High Priest and I have been under
World Church appointment since 2002 where I was appointed as the Greater Pacific
Northwest Mission Center President and before that as Seattle Stake President.
My professional experience includes ten years of work in various corporations as
a data and financial analyst. My educational background includes a Bachelor of
Science degree in Education from Winona State University, Minnesota and a Master
of Arts in Christian Ministry from Graceland University, Iowa.
I will relocate to the greater Independence area with my husband of 30+
years, Rob Borkowski, who is a seventy in Community of Christ. We have three
young adult children, Krista Binnicker who is married to Matt Binnicker, Casey
Borkowski, and Tom Borkowski. We also have two grandsons, Ethan and Hayden
Binnicker.
